Wichita State
The unfortunate thing about Wichita State's win is that this will be Turgeon's last year as a Shocker. I wonder if he'll take an offer from Kansas State, Missouri, or Iowa State given his affiliation to Kansas.
MVC = 3-2 vs. expected 1-4
ACC = 5-0 vs. expected 8-4
Roy vs. Turgeon may happen, if UNC can pull off the W tomorrow. Those doubting the MVC should realize they have already beaten the SEC regular season champs, the Big 12 regular season co-champs and Big 12 Tournament champs, and a Big East team. They get a 4th game against the Big East tomorrow and possibly an ACC matchup next week. Stay tuned.

Look, I understand that you are trumpeting the Valley, which is great, but can we please look at the teams that they have beaten?
To crow about beating Seton Hall strikes me as a little silly since the whole nation pretty much agreed that the Hall didn't belong in the tourney to begin with.
Similarly, Tennessee is the worst 2 seed in many, many years...they have played horrible for the last month of the season...the only way they got a seed that high is either the committee stopped watching games after Feb. 1 or Bruce Pearl is holding their children hostage. Either way, still not impressive.
I don't hate on the MVC though. I will give credit where credit is due...I was literally shocked that Kansas lost in the first round again. Bradley was the better team and that is definitely a win to hang the conference hat on. Big, big win...and I'm sure Bill Self never, ever wants to see another mid-major whose name starts with a B for the rest of his career. Also, I was very impressed with Wichita State despite playing the biggest fraud in the whole tourney. They are a really good team...scary good actually.
Go Heels...tough one with Geo. Mason Sunday...
