I'm agreeing with everything D said about Superman Returns (except his opinion that Superman II was the greatest comic adaptation ever; the 1st Superman and Batman Begins were better). This may be the only movie that I'll see at the theater all summer. Have you seen the trailers? Unbelievable. I can't wait to see Superman with all of today's special effects.

No one cares about who's cast as Lois Lane. Did anyone really care for Margot Kidder when she played the role? No. Lois is just the damsel in distress, period. (BTW, Kate proved me wrong in Beyond the Sea which also starred Kevin Spacey; she really can act). The only roles that matter are Clark Kent/Superman and Lex Luthor. It doesn't get any better than Kevin Spacey, though lobbied for Billy Zane's casting. And I have complete confidence in Brandon Routh (rhymes with 'mouth') after seeing the newest trailer. Can't wait to see it on the 28th now that the opening has been moved up.
