In case anyone was wondering...
Superman Returns was fantastic. Took me back to the first and second Superman. Brandon Routh was really good and will remind everyone of Christoper Reeve. There are a few suprises in there. Lex Luthor's grand plan was a bit far-fetched but the story was the perfect way to recharge the franchise and still stick to Richard Donner's formula. Kevin Spacey and Parker Posey were great, as exepected. I even thought Kate Bosworth excelled in the Lois Lane role, maybe even better than Margot Kidder (but who the hell wants to look at Margot Kidder anyway?). All in all, great movie and I can't wait to see it at the IMAX.

I wasn't as impressed. The performances were good, especially Kevin Spacey, but I felt the movie was too slow/uneventful/boring. It seemed the Lois Lane - Superman love story was the main plot and the Lex Luthor scheme was filler. The movie wasn't bad, it just didn't do that much for me.
The most excited I got was for the Spiderman 3 trailer, which is a little premature considering the film is out next year.
