Man, what a great day...even though this will cost me money in the work pool, at least the dookies got flushed.
Jav, are you posting on chrischase as anonymous? A lot of great points on that blog. I had no idea that such a high percentage of JJ's stats were in NC. Makes sense, but I never really thought about it.
And another thing...Coach K is a great coach. But, if you have to run an offense through either Williams or Redick, I would take Williams every time. Maybe he's not as flashy, but you can't win based on a three point gunner taking all your shots. Did no one learn from Reggie Miller?
Any bets on where JJ gets drafted? Is he more like Trajan Langdon or Grant Hill as far as career longevity goes? He would be deadly on a team where he can be the third or fourth option...a super version of steve kerr.
Well, Grant Hill was fairly dominant for 3-4 years (rookie of the year, all-star games, playoff appearances), but we usually forget that since he seems to always be hurt. Plus, he is still in the league after 12 years ('94 draft)...by the way, can you believe Grant Hill is a 12 year vet? Man, we are OLD.
Langdon though was a late lottery pick who was out of the league after what 2 years? And he was a great shooter who thrived in Duke's system. Is JJ the kind of guy who will be talking about as an NBA player in 10 years? I really don't think so.

Yeah, I've posted a good chucnk of them (such as Duke in NC vs. non-NC). Sometimes I go by Anonymous Hero also.
Weren't Langdon and Hill's careers jsut as brief?
