(College) Football is almost here!

While we are on the subject of football, lets talk some college football. There are 10 reasons why I'm excited about the 2005 season.

1) The Spurrier era begins at S. Carolina (is anybody really surpised).

2) The SEC, once again, will be the most dominant conference in the country.

3) The SEC East will feature the best collection of head coaches anywhere in the country, which translates into some fall classics.

S. Carolina - Steve Spurrier
Florida - Urban Myer
Georgia - Mike Richt
Tennessee - Phillip Fulmer

4) UNC fans will be brought down from their "high horse" after winning the NCAA Baketball Championship when their football team takes the field this year. With one of the toughest schedules in all of college football I smell a possible O-fer.

5) Did I mention the Spurrier era begins at S. Carolina this year?

7) S. Carolina vs Florida. Though my Cocks will be overmatched, this is the game Spurrier will won't the most and he will pull out every trick in the bag to try and win this one. Question is, will he have enough tricks to pull off the upset?

8) USC...the good one. Will they be able to repeat as Nat'l Champions and was Leinhardt's decision to stay in college a good choice?

9) S. Carolina vs Tennessee. Spurrier and Fat Boy will be going at it again.

10) Who will be this year's Boise State?
